The Profano bricks that any of us all know and love had been put to great use by some very skilled builders. A few have recreated iconic works of art, others have formulated miniature variants of prominent cities and a few have even produced a living re-creating famous record covers with Lego. Nevertheless which these creations are the most effective designs thus far? To help decide, we have looked back a few of our favourite Lego sets to date.
A devotee favourite to get a very great reason, 10305 Voltron successfully managed to recreate one of the famous moments from a classic video with just over 600 bits. The fact that five smaller physical lions were also able to seamlessly morph in the larger whole was an impressive feat and a display of the Lego designers’ skill.
Previously a set in the Ideas series (LEGO’s platform for creating and proposing new sets) just before becoming a Builder Expert design, 10217 Raiders of the Misplaced Ark has become a this article must-have for any Indianapolis Jones fan. Not only does it recreate the enduring Ark scene in great details but it also features a number of well-recognised minifigures.
Pixar has developed some brilliant movies over time and WALL-E is certainly among them. This set, which is one of the more new in the Profano Ideas brand, does a superb job of recreating the character’s proportions and likeness even though still making consumption of innovative building techniques. In addition, it can be unique just like a classic globe to get added entertaining.
